       Today's First shift of RRB Scale 1 Officer Preliminary exam is over. Reasoning Ability:
Number of Questions Asked: Total - 40 Questions


Details of Topics asked and their Difficulty Level

1. Syllogism : Easy (No Possibility Cases)
2. Inequality : Easy (Without Symbolic Relations)
3. Alphabet Series : Easy
4. Coding-Decoding : Easy (Sentence Coding)
5. Puzzles & Seating Arrangement : Moderate
Following sets of puzzles were asked:
(a) Circular puzzle, with some people facing the centre and some facing outside.
(b) Linear puzzle, with people sitting in 2 rows, some facing north and some facing south.
(c) Scheduling puzzle: Month based puzzle with 7 people.
(d) Box based puzzle
6. Miscellaneous Problems : Easy to Moderate
(a) Order and Ranking Based
(b) Letters and words formation question.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Number of Questions Asked: Total - 40 Questions


Details of Topics asked and their Difficulty Level

1. Number Series : Easy
2. Simplification/ Approximation : Easy to Moderate
3. Quadratic Equation : Easy
4. Data Interpretation : Easy to Moderate
The three sets of DI included following:
(a) Line Chart (based on male-female population)
(b) Pie Chart
(c) Tabular graph (based on different subjects and their percentages)
5. Miscellaneous Problems : Moderate
This section comprised of questions from topics like: Age based questions, Percentages, Profit & Loss, Time and Work, Probability, Partnership, Time, Speed & Distance etc.
