In partnership with the Government of the United States of America, NITI Aayog is proud to host the eighth annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit in India from November 28-30, 2017 addressed by The Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. The US delegation will be led by Ms. Ivanka Trump, Advisor to President Trump.
Since the inception of GES in 2010, it has traveled across the world from Washington D.C. to Istanbul, Dubai, Marrakech, Nairobi, Kuala Lumpur, Silicon Valley, and now finally Hyderabad!

Indigenously designed robot Mitra greeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Ivanka Trump and they inaugurated the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 in Hyderabad by pressing a button. CEO of Invento Tech -- Balaji Viswanathan -- and his 14-mmember team deployed two bots at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017. The 'Made in India' robot has been developed by a Bengaluru based company Invento Robotics, founded by Balaji Vishwanathan. Mitra is an ‘end-to-end’ India product. It provides contextual information to customers using a recommendations engine similar to what Facebook and Google use for their services. According to The Indian Express report, 'Mitra' is going to work on facial recognition technology to identify customers. The Company’s website also claims that the humanoid can become a photographer and a DJ and can live tweet from an event.
